How a Pokémon card set completion value works

How Cardprice adds a set checklist, skipping pending rows instead of treating them as $0. Includes Base Set and Scarlet & Violet—151.

A set completion value on Cardprice adds raw-mid quotes for the rows you check, on that device. Rows whose quote is pending are skipped. The total does not become $0 just because the amounts are missing. Graded figures are not added in.

Two kinds of checklist

Older sets in the book are short lists. Base Set includes both Unlimited and 1st Edition Charizard at number 4/102, and leaves the rest of the 102-card release out. Those rows are still Price pending. The completion line is not the value of all 102 cards, and it is not a market total.

Newer English sets are the full list from the Pokémon TCG API, including cards numbered past the printed set size. Scarlet & Violet—151 is one of those lists: every checklist row is in the catalog, and the quotes are pending. Checking a card records that you hold it. It does not invent a price.

Pair sets

Some releases are filed as a pair. Black Bolt links to White Flare, and the other way around. Each page totals only its own checklist. Both lists are pending.

The set index shows printed count, checklist size, rows in the book, and how many of those rows have a displayed quote. Coverage uses the checklist size, so a full import reads 100% even when secret rares push the list past the number printed on the card. Japanese 151 on that index is still the short sample, not a full second-language list.
