Check a Card’s Worth in 30 Seconds
Search the exact printing, read the raw quote, and leave the site to buy or sell. A short lookup loop for Pokémon card worth and values.
You can frame a Pokémon card’s worth in half a minute: search the exact printing, read raw beside any stored grade, then leave the site to buy or sell elsewhere. Cardprice is a lookup layer with labeled estimates. It is not a marketplace checkout and not a live ticker. Here is the three-step loop.
Step 1 — Search the card you actually hold
Open the homepage and type the name, the collector number, or a fragment of the set name. Pick the result that matches set, number, and language. Wrong printing is the main reason values feel random.
If you only remember the set, browse sets first, then open the card. Same destination, fewer collisions when names repeat. Prismatic Evolutions and Paldean Fates are full checklists if you want a concrete list to practice on.
Step 2 — Read raw and graded side by side
On the card page, look for:
- A raw low, mid, and high band when those quotes are stored
- PSA 8, 9, and 10 only when a slab amount is stored. Otherwise those columns stay hidden
- A source and delay line: as-of date when a quote exists, or Price pending when it does not
- Anchor on raw mid if the card is ungraded.
- Glance at PSA columns only if you care about slabs or are deciding whether to grade (grading).
- Read the delay label once. Price pending is orientation data. It is not a claim of the last marketplace clear, and it is not $0.
That is enough for binder sorting, trade talks, and “is this bulk?” decisions. It is not enough to wire a large sale without sold comps in matching condition. Mew ex 232 from Paldean Fates is a chase printing you can open in one click. Its quote is pending, so the page will not show a PSA 10 dollar figure.
Step 3 — Exit to buy or sell on a real market
Cardprice does not run an on-site order book. Card pages link out to TCGPlayer and eBay searches for that name, set, and number. Those links are on, and they do not carry an affiliate id. Verify condition, seller reputation, and fees on the destination site.
| You want… | Use Cardprice for… | Finish on… |
|---|---|---|
| A quick worth band | Search plus raw and grade columns | Your notes or trade chat |
| To sell | Identity plus the as-of or pending label | A marketplace listing you control |
| To buy | Identity plus a delay-aware band | A marketplace or shop cart |
| To decide on PSA | Spread versus fees, once both quotes exist | PSA cost tool plus your shipper |
What “worth” and “value” mean on this site
People search Pokémon card worth and Pokémon card values expecting one cash number. The stack is smaller than that: identity first, condition or grade second, price kind third (mid versus listed ask versus sold), and freshness on every step.
FAQ-shaped versions of the same questions live on worth. It pairs answers with the same search box.
Thirty-second script you can reuse
- Which set and number?
- Search on Cardprice.
- Raw mid is the labeled quote, or Price pending if none is stored. A PSA 10 figure appears only when that quote exists. Neither one is a live bid.
- If you are selling, check recent solds in that condition. If you are grading, run fees first.
Pauses that are worth more than 30 seconds
- Japanese and English of the same art can price differently. Confirm the language field.
- First Edition, shadowless, and stamped promos are not the unlimited cousin. Match the badge and set line.
- Played raw priced as near-mint makes every tool look wrong. Condition beats vibes.
- Ignoring a pending label turns a missing quote into false confidence.

Put the 30-second loop on rails
- Search
- Card page: raw beside any stored grade, plus the as-of or pending line
- Worth if the question is still fuzzy
- Optional: grading and the PSA cost tool if the next question is slab or sell raw
Cardprice is not an official Pokémon product and is not affiliated with PSA. Displayed values are estimates for reference only. A missing figure is Price pending, with an on-page as-of or delay note when a quote exists. The site does not complete purchases or sales. Outbound links go to third parties and do not include an affiliate id. No financial, tax, or investment advice.
